Close!..........Jumping Yoko Geri!

It is close to a mae geri though in Shotokan Karate!........Toes facing upwards, striking with the ball of your foot!

The pic tho is meant to be yoko but it does actually look like a mae geri!....Poor clipart imo!

I done 3 years shotokan but was guessing to the picture it was likely to be one of two options

I done 5 years shotokan but after my dad [shotokan brown belt] saw my sensei he said he was crap compared to his old sensei [japanese guy called kato.........No seriously].

So I left and then some years later I took up freestyle karate and kickboxing and it's brill! No more stances and fixed posistions just speed, power and aggression.................And alot of respect for others!
