Raphael's Eyesight

Does anyone know if these fish have poor eyesight?

We have one and it seems to bump into things while swimming about, it looks like it's using it's whiskers to feel it's way around.

They are generally nocturnal, so eyesight isn't that important to them.

alot of catfish have poor eyesight as they are nocturnal and/or they come from muddy waters, so they use their barbels to feel where they are going
