Rams And Smaller Fish?

Hi, ATM i have 4 blue mickey mouse platies. In one of my old tanks I used to have 2 keyhole cichlids and they used to hunt my neons down. I am defo stocking cardinals and was wondering if Rams will do the same to them?

Has anyone ever mixed them and how was it?

rams and small fish....
been there, ive had some eaten and some survived because rams are really peaceful, however its hit or miss if they will eat small fish.....

rams wont eat small fish...they may pick on them. ive kept rams with ember tetras and celestial danios with no incidents

i must of had disturbed ram then

rams wont touch cardinals, anything smaller than 2cm they may bully

but remember german blue rams must be kept at temps equal to or higher than 28oC but no higher than 32oC

would rams be OK in 27, or does it matter that much. my tank is at 26 or 27 and my khuliis are fine, but i dont want to bump it up...

28 is the bare minimum...30 is spot on

they will deteriorate fast as their immune and digestive systems will be supressed
