Overall this is a restocking question but yea.

200l Planted tank -
3 Otos, 1 Angel fish, 12 Emperor Tetras

Am just wondering, I don't really want corys or kuhlis or plecos as am going HG as my base.

So, Is there anything anyone would recommend to add or am I stuck for choice now?

I heard you can put a rainbow shark in a 200l? but am guessing am stuffed for space in middle section swimming anyway.

For me 50 gallons is about right. I would say that's about minimum I would put them it personally. I've just not had great experiences with them, as beautiful as they are, and find they behave themselves better in larger tanks. They do get pretty big and boisterous.

I have kept one with an angel before and it did nip at the angel's ventral fins.

So that's a no then, Am guessing it would have a go at my tetras too.

Well...that's a no from me based on my experience. I didn't have an issue with my tetras and the shark though. He seemed to only go after my angels, gourami when I had them, and my sail fin molly as well.

Hm, So it's possible to replace a angel with a shark? It might be a cool swap.

I would say so. I did it the other way around and traded in the shark but if you really like them then that's a fair trade to me.

I love sharks over an angel, If its fine with really big emperor tetras then I'd be willing to give it a go.

So 12 Emperors and 1 rainbow shark

I take it I'd have to get rid of ottos incase the shark eats them?

Any other stock ideas?

I've actually never had a fish bother ottos before in any tank I've had them in. I know that doesn't mean that will always be the case but my ottos have always gone under the radar.

In the morning I'll take a video of my Red Tail, he/she ( not sure what it is, at times the stomach looks grey which says female, but then it darkens ) I originally had it in a 50 gallon which had some decorations/rock caves but it didnt come out, it just stayed inside a fake plant and did nothing.  I moved it into my 125 with my rainbowfish, loaches, tetras, corys and whatnot and the thing loves it.  It swims around all day, exploring, eating microalgae off everything and doing little barrel rolls in the current.  I do believe with the setup of your tank if its the same as your image, it should enjoy itself plenty

Also.. HG base?  Whats this
