Does the jewel rio 400 tank and stand come seperate ie can u take the tank off the stand ??

after a quick check online you can buy the tank and cabinate seperately so I would say the answer is Yes

i am not aware of any tank and stand combination that cant be seperated. it would be a bit silly to build them that way......

they are separate, i have a rio by the way
Ok cheers if u r still looking is the tank heavy wen empty like really heavy for 2-3 grown men to lift ?

i only have the rio 180 but when empty the tanks arent heavy really

i would strongly advise moving the 400 without anything inside as the load may cause unsafe stresses in the tank, this includes substrate, decor etc.

Ok cheers mate everything will be out the tank except the filter wich is stuck in i think

also forgot the say, ensure your are sitting the tank on a level surface as when the tank is full of water and not level the amount of mass would not be evenly spread over the floor. this expecialy goes to you with a 400 as it will have a lot of mass

scratches are nothing to worry about unless they are so deep they comprimise the integrity of the glass itself, very unlikely.

juwel products are very good quality so you should have nothing to worry about
