Question For People That Own A 50 Or 55 Gallon Tank

I am looking for a 50 gallon or 55 gallon tank to rehome my pleco (see sig) and was wondering how big it looked so could anybody that owns a 55 gallon tank please post a picture of it in the room you have it in so I can get an idea of how big it looks in a room. Thanks in advance.

It will be hard to realize the size without actually being in the room. It will also depend on if you like a room with lots of stuff, or not much stuff. I have 2 55's stacked in my living room and I love them, I have a stool in front of them and sit there in front and watch the fish because the view from my couch isn't close enough. Just bought another 55 yesterday that will go in my bedroom, so I can watch it from bed. The dimensions of a typical 55 are 48" long (4 feet) by 20 3/4 inches tall by 13 inches wide. You could cut that size out of paper and stick it to the wall to see the size. If you get a tank with a wooded "top, and solid base, it will be taller. Go for it, you won't regret it, except to want a bigger tank!

If you get a metal stand, you will have room for your 20 long, and maybe one of the other tanks beneath the 55.

Dubrkat, there's a thread in members aquarium pictures titled something like 'post your tanks in situ..' and it's full of pics that you're looking for.

Not that I think it will help you, all rooms are different, but whatever floats your boat.

Dude, seriously, stop expecting stuff to be handed to you on a plate. Go look in the members aquarium photos section for yourself. There's plenty of threads in there!

Well I know that but most of them aren't labeled "55 gallon" 500 gallon" So I thought I could find it easier if someone could nicely and simply say "here is my 55 gallon tank and you can see whats in it and I hope you can find a 55 gallon tank for your self because their great" or something like that. So if you don't own a 55 gallon tank pseud don't post on here if you don't have something nice to say.

I think mine is 55 gallons, its a Juwel Vision.... there are some pictures around for you to look at im sure

The Juwel Vision is actually 180 liters = 39.5 Imperial Gallons = 47.5 US gallons I just know because I have the same tank

Well that didn't work I typed in 55 gallon tank it said their was an error and that that it had to either be more than 4 charcters or more than 4 which I did typw more than four letters but it won't work. So please SOMEONE just be real nice for me and post a picture of your 55 gallon tank!!! Please!!!

People are just trying to help, they'll be reluctant to in future if you're going to lose your rag with them. Just be patient, and then you'll get loads more help
