I can't add anything, as to me it's the best game to watch, as a skateless version of ice hockey played on a giant rink. I have no loyalties for teams, or emotional tie ins. I only have that in my local religion, hockey. But I'll read this thread because I want to learn. I have a friend from Yorkshire moving here next month, and I expect I'll be watching games with him and learning. It's coming up to time to pick a Champion's League team. Convince me!

Here, without effort, I can only find the Bundesliga and the league from France.

The relative merits of games don't matter much - they have more to do with where you come from and what games matter in your culture. Football's region is the world, with one or two exceptions, and when it narrows down to one league, it can be great stuff. So congrats to whomever won whatever - it's fun when your team does well.

Just to be super pedantic, you can't pick a Champions League side as teams from different European domestic leagues qualify for the CL each year. So you might pick a Bundesliga side, for example, and they never qualify for the CL so you won't see them there.

In the Premier League this year some big names have missed out on CL qualification and some underdogs are gonna make it in. Last day of the season today!
