I hear it’s possible when this happens , that she could be close to dropping fry?
 
Yes she is probably going into labour now but you don't want males hassling her now or for a couple of weeks after she gives birth.

She’s been swimming around ever since I took that picture of her this morning. She’s not hiding or anything... that’s not normal for labor right ?

They will often swim to different areas of the tank to drop fry because in the wild this gives them a higher chance of survival

Makes sense. This is active swimming though. And eating the hornwort , etc. I’m still keeping an eye out , haven’t seen any fry yet.
 
Ok, let’s try something new.

I figure with us being quarantined , and this girl hasn’t had her fry yet , let’s have a little fun. Let’s have a little poll and try to guess when she will drop ....

She was pregnant though. Opened her up. All we’re dead.

Heartbroken.
That is so sad... I have had the same with my guppies
