Power Head/wave Maker?

Is this any good for my tank? Just thought it might solve my "Low Flow" problem with the Fluval E300, and also create a bit of a current for my Boesemani. It's a 215L tank, 3.5ft. Any thoughts?

Way too overkill for a 215l tropical, that is ~30x turnover, more than most marine setups need! Look for something <2500lph

Thanks. Better to have 2, 1 either side with lower flow (1000LPM), or can I get away with 1 big one with the correct flow (2000LPM)?

personally i'd just use the 1 as it's turning over 1400lph, thats plenty IMO.

Don't buy it just for the sake of the heater as there has been a number of complaints from various people saying that the E series heater from Fluval is saying 'low flow'

I added one that shifted 1000 litres an hour and it was more than enough in my 3ft tank. I have removed that now into a smaller tank as it had a built in sponge filter with it too and have placed a smaller 600 litres an hour powerhead only and it is doing a nice job. The plants have a nice steady slow sway now which should hopefully help with the growth.

i would just use 1 1000 ltr/ph, but thats just me

My power head arrived this morning. You guys are right. The NeWave 1000 is plenty for the tank alright. The fishes don't seem to be too bother by it (yet). At max setting it's blowing the plants away, so now for a bit of trial and error...
