Basically i've been doing loads of work to my front and back garden recently as the weather has been warming up, its practically unrecognisable from what it was when we first bought the property around 19months ago. The old knackered out lawn and plants from my 5 and a half metre squared front garden has been completely taken out, the soil leveled out and loads of nutritious compost spread and raked through on top ready for some new turf and re-shaping of flower beds.
So i'm planning now what sorts of plants i want in the front garden and i would like a tree of some sort which either grows relatively small or at least can be pruned to stay relatively small. The front garden gets a lot of sun, and the tree is going to be planted near the front garden short boundary wall thing, but i was wondering whether this would be an ok place to plant a plum tree?
Any info or advice is much appreiciated :good: .

At our old house we owned, our front yard was 2mt wide but quite longish.

I planted a Ornatmental plum tree out the front of our bedroom window and it grew heaps and heaps and was beautiful.

I never went for a tree that actually produces fruit, just the ornamental type, so maybe consider an ornamental tree.
