Me too but alas it's too far away. I'm always rescuing goldfish offered for sale "with bowl" to stop them getting into the wrong hands and continuing to suffer further. It's lovely to see them in a large tank when they realise they can swim anywhere in a straight line not in endless circles as in a bowl and start to socialise with other goldfish after being kept in solitary confinement.
If any forum members live nearby please consider taking in this poor goldfish

No, I don't know anyone locally with fish. I got pics.
The tank dimensions are 40x30x35cm so more than 10l.

Shame I'm not at uni until September otherwise I'd collect it. Wouldn't be able to house it for too long but I'd make sure it went somewhere suitable.

If anyone can get hold of this poor fish and somehow bring it to London I can offer it a home.I have a large tank for rescued goldies so it will have friends. Sadly this isn't an isolated case.I came across someone who had FIVE goldfish in a tiny bowl. Sadly 2 died soon after I took them in (too far gone) but the other 3 are alive and well and growing bigger after 2 months.
