Please Identify This Fish!

I bought two fish from a local store and I got a wrong fish name.
Could you please identify and tell me the fish name?
I would like to give the best care to them.

Looks something like a "tire track eel" but the body seems a little thick from what I've seen.

(of course these "eels" are not eels at all as they have pectoral fins, but it is a common name so to speak...)

Though I've kept tire track eels, upon research I've found it to look more like a half-band spiny eel (Macrognathus circumcinctus) still pretty similar though.

its a Macrognathus circumcinctus (half banded spiny eel.
grows to around 8" will eat fish up to around 2", prefers sand or very fine gravel to bury in, if it can't bury in the substrate they tend to take a long time to settle and will constantly hide. they need either live or frozen foods and some can be difficult to get feeding properly, although one acclimatised the half banded spiny eels is amongst the hardiest of the spiny eel species.
