Play Sand

Although my sand is fine in my tank, i always like to keep 'spares' of everything in the misfortune of any tank issues.

ASDA are selling 10KG bags of play sand for £2, should anyone be on the lookout for some...obviously, at this price it is designed for the kids out the back garden and the cats at night (round our way, anyway ) so would possibly need extra cleaning..but great at that price i thought.

Just to add, 15KG at Argos for £2.99, it actually doesn't take as much rinsing as people think.

Agreed, put it in the bucket in the bath. Leave it under the tap, disturb the sand 4-5 times over the course of 15-20 minutes. Ready for the tank, mine was
