Platys and Gourami's

Can someome please explain to me why my platy's try and nibble on the gourami's all the time ?

Sometimes platies can just be nibblers, just like many other fish. I doubt it's specifically because they are gouramis, but perhaps your gouramis aren't fighting back at all so the platies figure they're easy to pick on!
