Does my platy have internal parasites? The poop sometimes is brown or green but then at the end of the poop, there is some white. Internal parasites or poop? Sometimes the poop hangs but it isn’t white or stringy. Provided you the description.

When Colin says its worms... Its worms. You can trust him. He is VERY knowledgeable on this matter.

Also, love your profile picture

If the fish is eating well and acting normal, then it's probably intestinal worms.

If the fish has stopped eating then it's an issue.

I am seeing the poop, the poop is brown but then then it looks like it is hanging from a string. It does not have the same color in the picture above. It’s brown but looks like hanging from a string

And also it is not stringy or white poop. As said in the section 3 of the article, when it said that intestinal worms will have white stringy, jt isn’t white or stringy

is the fish eating well?
Yes, she is eating well, right now i am seeing the poop color is green and sometimes it hangs from a string. Right now at this minute, the poop color was a solid green, i never feed them green stuff so that’s werid. And i have no plants in the tank, parasites or not?

the colour of the food often causes the poop to be that colour (green, brown).

the stringy stuff and eating well usually indicates worms.

Hello, is this platy skinny and has worms? The last picture to the right, what is that white thing hanging? Internal parasites or worms?! It isn’t white or stringy it is solid and short. Another thing to add, she poops sometimes green and black poop and its sometimes long, and the end of the poop curls.

Collin, can i use PraziPro to treat this! Its a dewormer med

Use Levamisole or Flubendazole first because they treat thread/ round worms and that is the most common worm in platies.

Praziquantel only treats tapeworm.

How are you sure this is a round worm or thread worm? Are you sure she has one of those you can identify
