Just brought this guy in. Not my typical "MONSTER" cat, but pretty cool just the same.

Centrodoras brachiatus. The "ripsaw" name is probably due to the scutes along it's flanks.

Did you get this amazing cat from eczs? I was eyeballing one, but my tank is a bit too small. Great pick-up nonetheless! :good:

Sure did!!

What size tank do you have?? These guys only get to about 16" and from what I have read are somewhat slow growers.

Only a 125gl (72x18x24) -- I think that's the right height.

I've been stocking it with various bichers and other cats, which is kinda why I passed on the ripsaws. Didn't want too many bottom fish competing (although, who can have too many cats?!)

Awesome fish, I'll be getting one from him as well pretty soon.

Cool!! So far has been hanging out with my 14"irwinni. Seems to be a mellow fish so far.

Today starts the hand feeding process. We'll see how he does.

Does your irwini take from your hand?

Yes he does!!

Here is a list of my cat's that currently hand feed:

12" RTC

14" irwinni

28" niger

24" TSN (still learning how tho)

Cat's I am currently working with to hand feed:

14" L. pictus

10" Platinum ripsaw (will start today)

9" tigrinus

9" marble ripsaw (very shy fish)

Other fish I have that hand feed:

18" D. sexfasciatus

20" Clown knife (ocassionally)

12" Midas (he is a brute to hand feed. Have to be careful or he'll take a finger!!)

Oh I didn't realize it was you. I just emailed you about the megalodoras marble, any news on it? You have s grest selection of fish by the way. Cool that you've got so many being hand fed.

That's an impressive list. Most of my fish are too shy. What is your technique on getting them to hand feed? I'd love to know, as I would love to hand feed most of my big fish.
