Plants out of water?

Hi all
Ordered a bunch of plants for the new tank, small issue being that they've arrived this morning but I'm not able to set the tank up till Thursday. I do have another tank already running but not enough space for all the new plants to go in it - what's the best way to keep the new ones until new tank is set up?

stick them in a bucket of water and put a light above it
