hi im planning a complete rescape of my pfk cube
its around 30 litres nominal and i got around 2wpg on it.. (low light for a tank this size)
atm it has eusteralis stellata valisneria nana and marsilea quadrifolia all tropica species
3 inch sand bed with 1inch of tetracomplete substrate underneath it.
i am goin to buy 1 small peice of redmoor wood from ae if they get stock in.
remove all plants
and order these plants
java ferns
some anubiases
and java moss
maybe a few crypts(can these be attached to wood)
its going to be a low tech no maintainence tank hassle free

tell me what u think

Cryptocorynes need to be planted into the substrate. They are heavy root feeders.

will it be ok if i have a 1/2inch layer of soil then 1/2inch of soil mixed with fine black gravel and then 2inchs of fine black gravel ontop will they be able to live on that

what carpeting plant would anyof you guys usein this set up i was thinking pogostemon helferi and/or echinodurus magdelensis

ps . NO CO2 ..................

i was thinking of following the walstad method

Whats PFK?

Yep. PFK did a subscription offer last year where they gave away a limited amount of AquaCubes (or something). Sexy little 30litre cubes with an 11w arcpod light. Wish I'd subscribed!

Make me an offer for a cube, light (original plus 24w Interpet PC T5 and reflector), HOB filter, heater....though I am debating using it sometime as a Tropica plant 'nursery' *cough*......
