Planning A 55g

Alright, so I'm getting a 55g tank sometime in the next couple weeks, I'm thinking ill just move my current fish to that tank. But I might add more depending on what would do well with the current fish.

Here's what I have:
2 orange and black swords(both female)
2 all orange swords(1male 1 female)
3 orange platys
2 yellow and black spotted platys
3 baby swords
3 julii Cory's
1 syno eupteras( think that's how they spelled it)

The syno is a bit territorial and might get his own tank.
Any suggestions?

id up the number of corys to 6 total atleast, you could get away with more probably in a 4 foot tank.

Would Sydney (the Syno) allow more bottom dwellers into his space?

For a 55g there will be pleanty of room for the catfish and the cories to share, add some caves in the form of rocks plant pots or ornaments so they have some hiding places

What else besides corys could I add, or would that be the max limit?
