Piranha Care (did I Do It Right?)

You did make your point of coarse ... As my post below ... I agree'd knowledge in the animal you intend to keep is Right and fair.

I agree with you 100% ... I have no intention of arguing with you either.

All I was saying was this in my statement more or less

"Thanks to all those who could help me ... Local Fish Stores will have you believe anything" I am here right now doing research I read online what to do ... did it and came here to confirm it ...

I don't think I am that lost ...

Anyways ... your right ... No Intensions of being Childish.

*sorry for taking this post off topic*

:hi: to TFF, wish you the best of luck caring for your fish.

Hi Tim

I recently has a similar problem. I was not new to fish keeping but was new to RBP's. I had 2 in a 30G which I soon learned was far too small a tank and far too small a number of fish. I believe that 5+ is a good number in a tank for 5 to 6ft 75G+.

If I were you I would consider doing what I did and sell the fish to the LFS or donate him to someone with a larger tank and an established shoal of similar sized fish. That way if you want to keep RBP's you can start again and do it right.

TBH though, I found them to be not the most interesting fish anyway. They are really just big babies which get scared at the sight of their own reflection!

Thats said I think things would have been different if I had done it right and got a large shoal.

Good luck whatever you decide.

:good:
