Ha have to get used to these guy's......There vibrating again

I was running around like a blue a fly looking for my mobile, as i have the vibrating for a ring tone, took 15 min's to realise it was them,

Got some for my CA tank, think I need to add a few more though - they're nervous as hell. More floating plants perhaps, T5 lighting seems to make them nervous.

Never noticed the vibrating issue though :crazy:

mine is fine with t5 lighting quite happily swimming around and hoovering up bits of food and has a mad half our everyday around 3 lol swims like mad allover for about 10/15 mins lol then goes back to normal. i love that grunting they do i was the same looking for my phone when i first got it my gibby plecs do it too

tenohfive catch one in a plastic jug then you will hear and feel it mate

Might do at some point in the future but mine still seem pretty skittish a month after I added them to the tank - they stick to a 1ft x 1ft stretch of tank for some reason. What size groups do you keep them in?

I have four full grown and there very socail fish, but there is abit of aggresstion between them,heard there better in group's to spead the aggresstion....there active all day long, Sometime's it's like soul train in there all in a line up and down the tank.....I Have three light's on the tank, but usually only use the one, i have some area's where i have put cover's on top of the sliding cover's, this give's shaded area's, lighting as said is usally subjewed which all my fish seem to like :good:

ive only got the one at the moment but i might be adding 2/3 more soon i know when they are young they like to shoal and come out in the day more but when they mature they go into smaller groups and dont tolerate others as much as they used to

yes that seem's true but mine do seem to spend alot of time together with the odd quick chase around, they love swimming for hour's on end in the flow out let of the fx5, very comical... :lol:
