Thanks for the comments, the colours on the Gold Saum really are good for his size. He was in with Blue Acaras listed as one himself for £2 and I had been looking for one for ages. At 2" in that tank he already looked very nice and colourful too.

Thats a real nice tank, gold saum looks imense. does he not cause problems with the other fish? i heard they can be quite nasty

Yeah, its quite an aggressive tank on paper. The Gold Saum is very timid for now (not sure if this will last). He doesn't pay any attention to any of the tankmates. The tank should just be big enough to cope with any real aggression problems later on though, providing he doesnt turn into Jaws.

There is a possibility the Severum or the Parrot may have to go, sepending on how aggressive the EBJD and the GT get. I have other tanks for them if needs be though.

His colours truley are amazing too at roughly 4", so with him expected to at least double that size signs are good for a very attractive fish. Once he and the Electric Blue Jack Dempsey are larger they should make quite an attractive pair.

Thank you, he's really starting to darken up now too, the photo doesnt do him justice, so hopefully he is getting past the stage when most seem to die. Had him about 5 months I think
