Those are unusual tanks. I havent seen anyone use a marine backdrop for a freshwater tank. Really nice, i like them

Very unusualy background indeed - but lovely pics :)

we did at first, and then we changed it over to black. looks great! are those live plants?

That betta needs a female. It looks as if he has worked for days. Bettas have to be my favorite fish. Your tanks is nice :kewlpics: :kewlpics:

love the tanks :kewlpics:
i have a betta exactly the same as that but i dont know what species it is have you got a clue what it is.

Lovely original looking tanks you have there, but your plec is looking a bit on the skinny side and could do with some algae wafers

my sister took a bunch of old national geodraphic magazines and cut out all the coral pictures. Then she stuck them to some poster bard and made a background. Looks real nice. do betta's like to have styrofoam cups. I have a betta and he just makes his bubble nest around the floating thermometor.

Species?? Splendens. I have a feeling you meant tail type, though :p
If it came from a pet shop it's more than likely a veiltail. There's a pinned topic in the betta section about tail types complete with pictures.

Your betta looks ready for action with his nice big bubblenest, hehe. I agree that the backgrounds are a little strange, but I rather like it... adds lots of colour :)
