 Not much you can do but hope they look after them themselves, they look very keen though from those pics, either that or they are wondering how tasty they are

They great one of my pairs have just layed this afternoon good luck with yours, around this time last year this very pair raised around 100 young so hopefully they are ready to do it again

Congrats Beechey! How exciting. I hope to see some fry pics in a few days....

i will keep u updated but chances are they wont survive as there in my community tank, but never know i might be lucky,

all eggs still there in the morning.... im shocked as i didnt think they would be , why do some eggs look different ?

eggs that are pale/white are unfertilized, orange/brown/beige are fine they take around 60-72 hrs to hatch (the higher the temperature the quicker they hatch). when they hatch the parents quite often move them to a safer place. If you have a spare tank move the cone with eggs and parents into it with same tankwater, i have done this when i,ve had a suprize spawn in the community tank and the eggs have hatched fine, as the community fish will see them as live food once they stray away from parents.
feeling excited for you, keep us posted
regards Angel

when i say look different some are red solid looking and some are orangey red lol you can see in the pics if u look close,
60 to 72 hours really that soon so i reckon been 24 hours already, they have hatched the eggs right next to the heater, i dont think ill have time to set up the tank as of yet due to the filter wont be ready and mature, i have 2 spare tanks at the min all the fish in the tank are keeping away from the corner as the two discus are bossing everything as they are the two big discus in my tank, was thinkin about getting some sort of divider in the tank

not happy just fed them so both mum and dad came to the top and left eggs unguarded and the sneaky striped headstander eat about a dozen

You should definitely should get a divider or when lights are out you will loose more of them
