You can add live rock over a period of time but remember the longer it is out of water the more die-off it will have & your tank will/could have a mini cycle if there is a large amount of ammonia (from die-off), which will kill most live in your tank – IMO it would be a better idea getting all your LR into the tank before adding any inverts, corals or fish

Ammonia & NitrIte should ALWAYS read ZERO

Your 1st livestock purchase should be a clean up crew, maybe 6 Snails & 6 Crabs, than (depending on your readings again) after 1 week or so you can get yourself some clowns

is having all ammonia, nitrate N nitrite a good water condition

and im just wondering......because 3 days ago i added some dead sand (20lbs) over my live aragonite sand and that live sand have been there for 3 weeks since i started my tank so would there be a problem with that........dead sand over live sand and im still cycling i think its only been 3 weeks (my sand is about 2 inch deep noww

and one more ting is it necessary to use a PVC pipe for your LR to elevate them.......what are the benifits and wat could go wrong if i dont do this

i was jutswondering because sometime i only saw not ammonia and nitrite on some post...........is it safe to put some snails and hermit crabs wen theres is 2 damsel fish in it and my tank is only 3 weeks old
