As it says on the tin, I picked up a pair of Aphyosemion gardneri from my LFS today, the male is beautiful
They're in a 55 litre planted aquarium with 5 peppered corys, 3 apple snails and 2 amano shrimp :D

I added some floating plants for them to rest in and some duckweed to subdue the light :)

Excellent... Please remember a tight fitting lid is essential with these and other Killifish. Plug all exit hatches with filter wool as far as possible.

BigC

The lid is very tight as it is a 'Tropiquarium' :)
The peppered corys are very, very active and I fear this is what is causing the A. gardneri to hide, it could just be that it is a new tank.

I have lowered the PH to 6.5 as I read they like slightly acidic water (as do corydoras).

I will be adding more plants in the coming weeks :)

they were labeled as "A. gardneri Gold" in the shop :)
i'll take some more pics in a bit and put them up!
