Pest Snails

heyya guys,

just a quick question, how would i go about breeding snails for my puffers as they dont have long enough in my tank to breed as they get eaten.

what requirements do i need to breed them ?

Get a little tank; one of the cheap plastic 'goldfish' bowls would do; fill it up with water, put a bit of sand on the base, a couple of low light plants and some snails and stick it somewhere sunny

Snails breed asexually, meaning they don't need an opposite sex to make babies. I would just get a basic tank, filter, heater. Gravel. Fake or real plants. Just toss in a few snails. Feed them a lot, and you should have a population explosion within a week.

You can feed them anything, from fish food to alage tabs to lettuce to fish poop
When people have snail problems in their tanks, its usually because of overfeeding.
