Pearl Gourami Surprise Fry

Some weeks ago we added a male Pearl Gourami to the two females we allready had in our communitytank.

Having kept Pearls earlier I was surprised the male immediately started to build (a terrible designed) bubblenest in the corner of the tank. Some days later it was gone but he still went on with construction. Bubbles came and bubbles went but we never thought he would be a decent father.
Ohhhh well !!!!!

Put some "gouramifry"in a spare tank (only Corydoras panda in) some time ago.

Appears to be 2 species. Think the Cardinals bred (or green neons) and the male gourami prevented them of being eaten.

So hard to make a pic but pretty sure these are tetras. Hoping to raise them to see if they're cardinals or green tetras.

Think I solved the mystery. It is a bit of bummer hahaha. The fry appears not to be the 12 Pearlfry I put in this tank (and no tetras after all) They are Brachydanio frankei which are in my hillstreamtank. .I am totally unaware I put plants (and eggs) from that tank (there are hardly plants in there hahaha) in this one. A bummer but fun though hahaha.
