english bulldogs don't have deformed spines or swim bladder issues!

each to their own, my opinion is that they are ugly. and there are cases of hybrid fish getting into waterways, truth is though (such as in australia) koi's are desturbing natural habitats and causing issues just as a flowerhorn would.

Actually bulldogs do tend to suffer from spinal defomities and related problems and when young suffer from weak bladders. They also cant run for more than a few meters, cant really jump, have breathing problems and are lucky to live past 8.

Your right about flowerhorns and koi getting into waterways and causing problems but thats true of all non native fish and hybrids are no more damaging. Parrots would actually be less of a threat due to the fact male are sterile and as you have stated the deformed spine etc.

wow i didn't know that about bulldogs. but yeah my point was that any non native fish in waterways is a bad thing, not just hybrids (although i agree that parrots would be near useless at disturbing anything)

i would never buy one, they look so deformed, i learnt my lesson with the stupif fancy goldfish, their swim bladder went after a week, they look so freaky i wouldnt even begin to think about keeping one, nor thinking about liking the look... if it were me i would go for sevs, or firemouth cichlids, if you like these sorts of fish

agreed on that they are so ugly! i went to a lfs today who had some and they are not even compleately orange like you would get a platy or a glodfish but sort of orange mixed with just a white fish. it was like a picture painted with watery water

Eh i don't think they are too ugly. They look much better than severums, in my opinion.

the natural coloured ones are wierdly cool lol, i strongly disagree with dyed fish 100% wrong in my book
