A while back I managed to get hold off 6 unrelated F1 Parachromis 'Red Tiger' Motaguense. They were only about an inch big then and have grown at about 1/2" a month. Now I'm left with a a stunning breeding pair (spare male and female, the other 2 perished).

Right now though, they're my fave cichlids and will be charting their progress on this thread when possible.

They're only about 4-5" yet, with plenty of growing left, plenty of attitude.

Some pics of the pair and fry from end of Dec 2009.

Stunning, definitely my favourite from the Parachromis genus. I am sure you know what you're doing but watch things very closely. I lost my beautiful female mota, because the male got over amorous although I was watching and had decided to put in a divider the next day, but unfortunately I was too late, he killed her overnight. I'm in no way trying to preach, just I don't want you to go through losing a lovely fish. Good luck with you're pair, as I say they look like a stunning pair.

I love RTM's would love to have one myself, stuff like this is non existent round here tho.
