Oxygen Supply

Ok, so my tank arrived last week, i am a novice & i am trying to get used to the controls. The tank has default settings for the O2 CO2 & lighting etc.
My question is, how long & often would you advise me to run the oxygen supply?
I thought you run it constant

what tank have you got? never heard of 1 like that before . from what you described im imagining something actually with an o2 cylinder? the best way to provide a tank with oxygen is to have your filter outlets aimed so they agitate the waters surface.

i enjoy all of the taking care of the aquarium and the fish. i like feeding them and cleaning the tank and stuff lol

Yeah ... it doesnt stop me from messing with it even tho im only 2 weeks into maturing the water, so i dont have any fish yet lol
As i said earler ... I always thought the oxygen runs contant ... am i right?
I was hoping people would reply by saying they run theirs constant but no one has answered yet
....... anyone?

ha right what you want to know is do you leave the co2 on
over night or not is the any of you people with planted tanks that run co2
out there as heatwave here is wondering is it off on a night do you just leave it on

The CO2 runs according to the lights. I have the lights running from 17.00 - 23.00.
Im just trying to configure the O2 settings now. Is it normal to leave the O2 running constant? or if i set times of the day ... what times?
