Well, I have the gigantic pond, but it has bass, bluegill, and other sunfish. I can’t keep koi or anything like that.

Same here! We have Snapping Turtles too though, and red ear slider Turtles, along with bass and blue Gill and the cutest little tad poles. In the 7 years I’ve lived here I have only caught 2 fish. Then there is also the koi pond, which has nothing in it yet haha
I caught a massive 24 inch, 8 pound largemouth bass in that pond. (That was before I stopped fishing)

Wow! Mine were probably like 6 inches and 8 inches haha. We did catch a wild goose though once, don’t know if that counts
Our pond is technically private property, but because all the neighbors land comes right up to the edge of it they think they have access to it, but they leave fishing line EVERYWHERE and the poor goose was all tangled up in it, had it all wrapped around her leg and it was all infected, so we caught her, got all the line off, rinsed her leg with chlorhexadine shampoo (not sure if I spelled it right) and kept her overnight, then drove her to a wildlife rehabilitation place a few hours awayWhy don’t you fish anymore?
These really cute otters came one year and stayed in the pond for a few days, it was an otter and her 3 older pups. They were so cute and kept swimming around and playing under our floating dock

Because they can get up to 24 inches, I would guess around 4-6lb maybe. Definitely not as heavy as a large mouth bass.

Ohhhhhhhh. I never had much interest in fishing, it takes so long to find my pole, find the bait, walk down to the pond, then if I do catch a fish I don’t know how to take it off the hook myself which sounds very patheticI don’t know, I think I sort of lost interest in it, after I got serious about keeping fish.
I have one of these 125-gallon plastic ponds that I bought at Lowes. I have yet to dig a spot to place it yet. Does that count?
