is it normal for a fish of a different species to school with another? because my oto's and guppie seem to be doing that in my tank its cute =d

IMO, only under certain circumstances. I had a little endler fry from a tank full of neons and when I put it in the tank it cowarded from all the other fish and it found safety with them. But normally my other fish don't school with different species. And now the endler stays with his own kind

I think its like if you kept one neon in with 6 danios, it would school with the danios to feel safe.
