Open Tank With Sae?

hi,
i have an open tank, nearly 4" from water level to the actual top of tank.
would a SAE jump out?

also shrimp? ok in open tank or do they just climb out? prob a dumb question!

No dumb questions - only dumb answers!!

No idea what you mean by SAE, sorry.

Shrimp will climb out if disturbed, or if water quality is troublesome to them. They need something to climb in order to get out tho.

SAE = Siamese Algae Eater

I've never seen my SAEs jump but there is always the risk that any fish will jump. And if they did jump, 4" would probably be a height they could clear as they can swim pretty fast.
