OMGOMGOMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i just bought a bigger tank!
they wanted $450 and its brand spankin new
it includes filter, heater, canopy, lights, extra bulbs, extra heaters, air pump, stand and a hell of alot more!
i bargained my way down to $375

i'm from canada and a CHEAP 48 gallon, glass only costs $200
this tank is a 55gallon and it is new

did i do good?
is this a good deal?

also is there any way i can cheat and not cycle?
i don't exactly have room to have this tank running for a month
its running at his place so i was thinking i could drain it, bring it to my place, then use my two 20gallons (which i am combining) to refill the tank, then using new water to fill the last 15gallons or so
would that be ok?
i figure the benificial bacteria from the gravel and the 20 gallon's water should be pre-cycled enough

Hey kitty you should know the drill by now, media and gravel from a established tank means you can stock a tank instantly, just do a little swapping and your there.

i know,
i knew it was a good deal, but at the same time i was like
- so much money

but i guess that part you can't get around
i'm gunna be eating kraft-dinner for a month

i can't wait to set it up
it already has driftwood
i want to make it planted but i'm unsure of the wattage
i will be putting both my 20gallon inhabitants into the 50gallon and hoping all goes well
i may have to eventually put a divider in (off to the corner) as my krib gets bigger so that he doesn't eat my white clouds

the tank will have:

1 marble angel
3 white clouds
3 platy
4 assorted corydoras
2 upside down synedontis
2 khuli loaches
1 ADF
1 flying fox
1 kribensis
1 bolivian ram
1 blue gourami
1 gold gourami
1 dwarf gourami (old and on deaths door)
