Ok Ive Got 12 Africans Now :) Started Mine Up

ok so ive decieded to go with africans, i brought 12 fish

4x Elongatus Chewere,
4x Metriaclima Aurora
& 4x Yellow Labs

all at the moment in a 30g tank due to their size, a inch and some smaller.

they will be in my 5ft soon as they get bigger as im too scared there be sucked up in the filter for the 5ft.


what other africans could i put with these?

There are loads of Mbuna you could add.
Have a look at your lfs and see what you like. But don't add without doing some research first. Some species are very aggressive.

Could you not put something over the filter intake? Never done it myself, but I have heard of people putting ladies stockings over to prevent fry being sucked in.
