I will hopefully be having a complete change round with my stocking in my 60x18x24. the ornatums are being collected on the 6th of feb giving me a need for new fish :hey:

ill be moving my 8 leopoldi angels into it but everything else will be new. so what can you guys and girls think of?

im pretty sure a decent group of maybe 40-50 cardinals would look nice.

i want a smallish pleco thats a bit different, maybe a blue or green phantom etc.

i cant have a tank without catfish so smaller cats will be needed. im so tempted with corys unless you can tempt me elsewhere.......

this tank will be a nice peacefull tank (hopefully) thats a pretty picture too so i think im going down the planted route again :p

throw me your best ideas........

oh god...

Whats happening to the CRFT's? :hey:

Oh, and btw, a nice group of Pyjama Synodontis would be minnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnt!!!! :D

i dont think they will fit in so will be for sale/swap etc. are ya interested? :hey:

Ive got 2 juvi's that look very much like a pair... Nevermind. lol.

Pyjama Synodontis mate, they're beautiful! :)

Matt your FM is absolutely stunning, you can't get rid of it surely. Liking the planted tank idea though, i'm going down that road again in my next project. As for shoalers i think cardinals are to 'obvious' to go with angels, perhaps pencilfish of sort. Say Nannostomus nitidus? I've just fell in love with them having just bought latest edition of PFK today haha :p

Honeycomb tatia ;) you know you can't resist now!!!

very good choice MBOU. have you had these before? my experience with woodcats is that they go in a tank never to be seen again until lights out....

very true he is by far the best FM ive seen for such a young example but im not sure he can be kept in with angels and small dithers once he gets a bit bigger. a shame but could end up a disaster.........

just googles the pencilfish and they look great but are quite a small fish which may end up as angelfish lunch if im not carefull!

i know cardinals are a very common and obvious choice but i dont think you can beat them. can you?

As an alternative to corys, parotocinclus maculicauda? Tend to get called red fin otos or red fin dwarf plecs, etc. Bit different.

nice fish ive never come accross, thanks. i was thinking of otos, maybe these are a good alternative :good:

have a look at an LDA033 for a pleco. Potentially slightly bigger than a phantom, but stunning colouration.
