So I went to the store, I am not going to say which one, and even though I always stay away from their aquatic section, as it is normally horrible, I walked through there today. Oh the horror. I was almost sick. Who should I report this to? I seriously wanted to cut the heads off all the fish they had and put them out of their misery. These are the Blood Parrots they were selling. Sorry for the quality. I was taking this with my phone.

They all looked diseased and possibly misshapen! I would want to put them out of their misery too. I feel really bad 4 them. What store was this?

I cannot name the store as it could get the moderators in trouble. But yes, they were diseased, they were misshapen, and they were malnourished

I doubt it would be a P@H... DM lives in America i believe?

And yes they do look particularly mis shapen, even for BP's.

No, not p@h. I don't think we have those here. These poor parrots looked horrible. I have seen the ones they keep and Petco and Petsmart, and those are very healthy parrots. simply stunning.....the ones I saw today didn't look like they should still be alive. I am no expert on Parrots, but I know that these were in really bad shape.

Awful looking fish, I can tell from the reflection in picture three which store this is and im from the UK!

Wal you Mart not be able to mention the name of the store but I think most of us know already!

That was my guess, dh. I would call the Humane Society or the health department, or both. Hard to say if there's an infectious disease that could transfer to humans, right? Just doing your civic duty, and all that.

In the meantime maybe you could tip a fifth of vodka in the tanks when nobody's looking.

I see what the humaane society can do, and if they cannot help, I will see if they know who can. This was just the most horrible disregard for life. And that was only one of the 10 tanks they had. The others were in not so good shape either.

I'd suggest talking to the manager, but that would likely be pointless and frustrating. Keep us posted.

I spoke with the manager. He said he will look into and get their fish expert in to see what needs to be done. I think that he is only doing this because I told him that I had pictures of the tanks and his decision would make my decision on whether or not to release them to higher powers :p I suppose I will go back in about a week to see
