it depends by the measurements its 38 (us gallon) rather than 38 UK gallon i wouldnt really want to put such a large fish in a small tank anyway kind of unfair on it

The tank would be too small for most fish attaining this size but this is a sedentary, lurking, cafish which has a highly flexible eel-ish body.
This means the tank is ok for one of these wheras it wouldn't be suitable for a 15" typical fish.
