Do you plan on having a larger or tank or do you have a larger one already?

I have an immature albino bristlenose catfish in a 5.5 gallon tank. He's about 2 1/2 inches tops in length. Slow growing and very active. He will get too big for my tank eventually, but I actually have larger tanks for him once he grows up some more. I've had otos before. They can sometimes be a pain to keep alive, but they're fun to watch. Best kept at a minimal of 2 because without competition they're not going to be cleaning well.

And they stay small too. About 2 inches tops I think.

What about 5 pygmy cories for the bottom, 6 microrasboras (e.g. galaxies o boraras species) and 1 honey gourami?

Thank you for the info Larkspur - but unfortunatley I don't see myself getting a larger tank just yet. But I'll certainly bear it in mind for the future.

Could I substitute the microrasboras for 3 x guppies ? Or would they not get on with a Honey Gourami? ( I read the Honey Gouramis are nice community fish, but you never know )
