Not So New 65g (uk) Reef+ 10g Sump And New 30g Fuge

"carbon fiber mesh" >> can do.

"Also it needs to be well centered/balanced or it might rip itself to pieces" >>>> mmmmmmmmmm............

oooh oooh oooh, just got a great idea why not use some stainless steel scrub pads common for dishwashing? You'd have to figure out how to secure it, but that stuff might be worth trying.

oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh oooh...... might have to try that

MMMmmmmmm..... securing it could be a PITA but if you don't try......

Amen to that matt. I also hear a lot of people use floor scrubber/polisher pads. Apparently some type of composite that lasts very well.

found what looks like a plastic swarf pad in the homeware sec. of local diy store so got back home late and glued in the valve into the intake and thats as far as I got. Got onto the computer and that was the night gone!

Sometimes theres just not enough hours in the day.

The thread on RC refers to re-circulating skimmers I'm wondering if this modd will work with just a supply-pump type of skimmer??
