hey guys,

as some of you may have know i was gunna get discus, but i decided to get angels instead for now ! ( lol just out of randomness my bird just fluffled her feathers on my shoulder and she hit my in the face with her tail :D kinda salty :/

Anyway, i got 2 silver, and 2 koi.

there so nice but there only like the size of a toonie (Canada $$$)

But i love em:)

pics sooon :band:

Congrats angles are nice can't wait for photos.. Why did you change your mind?

I bought two angels about 2/3 months ago. I'm amazed at how much they grow into their young colouration. I bought the most striking juvi's in the shop and they are even more stunning now. Angels are definately the way to go, especially if your like me and can't be doing with the constant water changes that discuss do well to thrive in :)

Yeah thank pretty nice!

except its weird though cause 1 koi angel paired up with a silver and the same thing with ther other ones. But im pretty sure there to young to pair and breed and all that!:)

Glenbo- I love the blues to especially the phillipines (i think thats what there called) i sen those on aquabid:) Oh! and i forgot to ask before in the other thread, how much was your flowerhorn? if i had another big tank i'd so buy one xD

Snowflake- issues at home n' everything again, :/

Might have pics soon.

Still dont no how to use photobucket though lol. Anyone know?

just upload your pics to photobucket and copy and paste the image code ( underneath the pic once its on photobucket) into your thread

Personally I find angels and discus are a close tie for my favorite large fish. My Angels probably even get more viewing time as they are in my bedroom and I love to be lazy and lay in my bed

Any options for tankmates? i only have a yo yo loach so far

Tankmate ideas. I have a 60 gallon with a paired gold pearlscale angel and a veil tailed koi angel. In the same tank I have a pair of bolivian rams and pair of apistos and also a school of congo tetras. The bristlenose does fine with them and even shares his zuchini. I also have 4 corys in the tank. Oh and some shrimp, which I realize may not survive as the cichlids get older.

One thing, get some big leafed plants. Angels love to lay eggs on amazon swords or big and tall anubias in my experience. :good:

If Angels have Amazon swords in their tank they will almost always spawn solely on them. As far as tank makes Bolivians get along great with them along with the usual bristlenose+corydora clean up crew. But if you want to keep your spawn its best not to have and plecos as they have some super skill to track down and eat the eggs in the first day or two

lovely little angels. :good: a group of congo tetras would go nicely in there
