I'm looking for an algea eater but would like to have nocturnal activity in the tank as well

I think a Big mouth pleco would fit that descirption right?
I would put it in my 20 gallon tank.

I'll provide him so hiding places for daytime and eventually set up moon lights so i can atch him when i'm sleepless! :)

I don't know a lot about plecos, but some can get pretty big so make sure it will fit your tank :) Theyre messy as well.

I think the bristlenose (or is it bushy nose?) variety only grows to around 4".

I have Otocinclus Catfish & they do their job pretty good, and grow 1"-2"
