Nitrite Test?

On my nitrite test earlier instead of showing the normal 0ppm colour in my fishless cycle it showed a slight blueish colour just a tiny bit lighter than 0ppm?

On the API test, that's off the scale...

I thought when it is off the scale it goes purple in the tube then goes blueish?
