Nitrate Seems High

Hi well iv tested everything ammonia 0 nitrite 0 and the nitrate in my tank is very pinky and doesn't really match any colour! If I had to guess I'd say maybe around 50 but that's a guess really!

The tank has Malawi cichlids etcand is overstocked to limit aggresion it has been cycled and all and I change 60l out of 190 twice a week. Should I be upping it with these reading to maybe 3 at 60l a time?? The tap water was 5ppm for nitrate last time I checked.

What do you guys reckon?

Hello SF,
May i suggest if you are using the Api liquid nitrate test, when you next test give bottle 2 several taps on a hard surface followed by a severe shake. The solution within bottle two has a habit of seperating resulting in some of its contents collecting at the bottom.

Sorry I forgot to mention the test kit it's a nutrafin master test kit. I shook every bottle but doesn't seem to match any 100 seems really dark but mine was a leight pink. Tap water wise I think it was 5-10ppm. Last time I checked.
