Hi there, here's an interesting one for you guys if you can answer it (I hope you can!)

I recently adopted 2 (possibly male & female) Spanish Ribbed Newts. The tank they were kept in lacked a heated but the room they were in was reasonably warm so the water was usually around 20-22C.
My question is, I have a 3ft Tank which currently only houses 2 bristlenose plecs. The water in this tank is 22-24C constant.
I have searched google for the answer but I can't actually find a definitive answer, can the newts be kept in a tank at 22C provided by a heater? Given that the heater is set to 23/24C the water varies from 22-24C depending on room temp (thermometer is on 23 constantly but is sometimes a little above or below.

I would love to be able to move these two newts into the larger tank since it only has the two plecos in there. Plus the plecos I have do not like bloodworms and the newts love them... so seemingly perfect habitable partners?

Thanks for any advice!
