Newcomer To Marine Life

hi hows everyone doing? I am new to the marine fish keeping world and would possibly like to get involved but dont know if i have what it takes. i have a 35 gallon hexagon tank right now. I have a heater and standard flourescent lighting that came with the tank. i have a aquaclear filter on the tank as well. all i would be looking to do would be to set up a nice fish only tank, as inexpensive as i can get it. i am not looking to spend a bundle. so heres my question; what will i need to start up this tank? what kinds of fish are easy to keep? is marine fish keeping as hard as people make it out to be? what extra equiptment will i need?
