We`ve just set up a 60-70 litre tank with about 10kg live rock, live sand, 1.5kg live rubble in external filter (hydor 2), internal filter fluval2+ etc etc. Been running for about 2weeks now and all levels ok

nitrites 0
nitrates less than 10

went to buy cuc from lfs and was inadvertently sold "dancing shrimp" two of, my fault for not researching before but they looked nice, plan to get soft corals
eventually, how bad are dancing shrimp with soft corals, do i need to get rid of now?

I believe they are often sold in error as peppermint shrimps whose main claim to fame is that they often eat Aiptasian whereas the camel shrimp (aka dancing shrimp) doesn't.

They can pick at soft corals so need to be kept an eye on in a reef tank.

No corals yet, apart from those that hitchiked on lr, so will see how it goes with those first.
