today i went for a walk through a nature park, not too far from home. i was looking to find some wood and rocks. i struck lucky with the rocks
as there is a little brook running through the whole park and there is also a large pond full of plants. i went into the wooded area where there was old dead tree trunks lying across the ground and dead tree branches. i picked up a few pieces that i liked the look of (i did my research on hard and soft wood tree's before i left) so i know that the wood i picked up was definitely a hard wood
i soaked both the wood and rocks with boiling water, then scrubbed down the rocks and left the wood in the bath for a few hours to soak
my tank has gone very clouded, probably due to moving everything round in the tank and messing with the scape sand and dirt ended up clouding it up, its been cloudy for a good few hours now, i was worried because it would usually clear up quite quickly compared to this time. so i dont know if i did anything wrong, oh and by the way i most of the wood had already lost its bark the parts that didnt i stripped them down and soaked them again
just wanted to know if i did this right or not ?
