So this is my first post but it is with a purpose. I came here looking for advice on my 20 gallon tank . I have had the tank cycling for just over a month now and the ammonia is at 1.0ppm the nitrite is 5.0+ppm and the nitrates are at 20.0ppm I have had these same readings for over a week. its like my tank is just stuck the 5 serpae tetras I have in the tank are doing great and the water looks good. it just wont finish the cycle.

        Please help me
        Thank you

Welcome! How often do you do your waterchanges? This is fish in, correct?

I could be wrong and if so likely get corrected, but I'd advise quite a large (40-50%) water change to help remove the nitrates And the ammonia and nitrite of course. See how you go from there.
I think any live plants can affect a cycle, and a fish in cycle can take longer to build up to a fully stocked tank.
I am personally doing a fish in cycle at present and haven't had any spikes yet and I'm 4 weeks in with mollies and corys :)

And of course welcome! :D
